This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones https://technicaladda.in (the “Site”) uses, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They help the website remember things, like your cookie choice, or count how many people visit. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
- First-party cookies are set by technicaladda.in.
- Third-party cookies are set by other companies, such as Google or Amazon.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
Your choice comes first
When you first visit, a banner asks for your consent. You can choose:
- Accept all: allow all cookie categories.
- Reject all: allow only strictly necessary cookies.
- Customise: switch each category on or off.
Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default and only load after you allow them. You can change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Cookie categories
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
Needed for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choice. They do not track you for ads and cannot be switched off in the banner (you can still block them in your browser, but some features may break).
2. Analytics (optional)
Help us understand which articles are useful, how people find us and where pages can be improved. We use Google Analytics 4. The data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
3. Advertising (optional)
Used by Google AdSense and its partners to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and, if you allow it, show ads based on your interests. If you reject these, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalised.
4. Affiliate (set by retailers)
When you click an affiliate link (for example to Amazon.in or Meesho), the retailer sets its own cookies on its own website to record that you came from Technical Adda. These cookies are not set on technicaladda.in and are covered by the retailer’s cookie policy. Amazon, for example, credits a purchase made within 24 hours of the click (or within 89 days for items added to your cart in that time).
