How we build these tools
- Published formulas only. Every calculator shows its formula and a worked example, so you can check the maths yourself.
- Made for India. Amounts are in rupees with lakh and crore grouping, and the tax and deposit rules follow Indian law and government notices.
- Private by design. All calculations run on your device. We do not save, send or see your income, loans or results.
- Kept current. Rates and rules that change, like small savings rates, GST rates and tax slabs, are checked against official sources such as incometax.gov.in and cbic-gst.gov.in.
A note on accuracy
These calculators give estimates. Banks may round differently or charge fees, mutual fund returns are not guaranteed, and your tax can depend on income and rules a simple tool cannot see. Use the results to plan and compare, then check the final numbers with your bank, fund house, the Income Tax Department or a qualified adviser before you act.
FAQ
Finance Calculators FAQs
Are these finance calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator on this page is completely free, with no sign-up and no limit on how many times you use it. They run in your browser, so once the page has loaded they keep working even on a slow connection.
Is my financial data stored anywhere?
No. Your salary, loan amount, deposits and results never leave your device. The calculations run in your browser and nothing is saved on our servers or shared with banks, lenders or anyone else. Closing the page clears what you typed.
How accurate are these calculators?
The calculators are as accurate as their formulas and the numbers you enter. EMI, FD, RD, PPF and GST results follow standard formulas and should match a bank or invoice to within a few rupees. SIP results are only estimates, because market returns change, and tax results leave out some special cases.
Did income tax slabs change for 2026-27?
No. The Finance Bill 2026 proposed no change in income tax rates for tax year 2026-27, which is what FY 2026-27 is now called under the Income-tax Act, 2025. The new regime still has nil tax up to ₹4 lakh and a rebate that makes salary up to ₹12.75 lakh tax-free. Compare both regimes in the income tax calculator.
What is the PPF interest rate for October to December 2026?
The PPF rate is 7.1% a year for October to December 2026. The Finance Ministry kept every small savings rate unchanged in its 30 September 2026 review, so the Post Office 5-year RD stays at 6.7% and the 5-year Time Deposit at 7.5%. PPF has been at 7.1% since April 2020.
Will my home loan EMI go up after the October 2026 repo hike?
It can, if your loan is linked to the repo rate. RBI raised the repo rate by 0.25% to 5.50% on 7 October 2026. On a ₹25 lakh, 20-year loan at 8.5%, a full 0.25% rise adds about ₹397 to the EMI, or 13 extra months if the bank keeps the EMI fixed. Fixed-rate loans do not change.
Which calculator should I use to plan a savings goal?
Use the SIP calculator for market-linked investing, the RD calculator for a fixed monthly saving, and the PPF calculator for long-term tax-free saving. Run the inflation calculator first to see what your goal will cost in future rupees, then work backwards to the monthly amount you need.
Can these calculators replace a financial adviser or CA?
No. These tools give general estimates, not financial or tax advice. They cannot see your full income, goals, risk appetite or past tax filings. For big decisions, such as choosing a tax regime with business income or taking a large loan, speak to a qualified adviser or chartered accountant.
